Adding extra weapons

I have tried to search for this question but i couldn't find anything.

Im am making a mod where I need to place extra sniper rifles in a level. I know that you have to duplicate an object, like a bush, then somehow change that to a rifle. I can find out how to do this in Sparkedit. Is this the right place? Please help.

Yeah I dont understand why sparkedit lets us duplicate almost anything except weapons...it sucks.

you misunderstand what the duplicate function in SP does. if you want to add weapons, you will have to follow this tut.

You can Dup weapons...It's not hard...

but in case you didn't notice, Templar, there are no weapons in map files... just mp_equipment.

yah it dose becouse i have it and i duplicate weapons left and right.

I can't even get to select AI spawn points! When ever I do they all disapear....

my problem is that whenever i click on a weapon i cant swap it...its like none of the mp equipment is swappable

Heh same goes for hills and player spawns. It might just be that it would make exspetions.

player spawns can be moved, but not duplicated.
There is only 1 MC :)
(The co-op spawns are still there, so there are 2)

Im just giveing an exsample. Lol I remember when I put the vehicles spawn like 1000000000000000 feet high. I was just walking when... BAM a tank landed on me.

if you put it too high it never comes down. i wated like an hour while watching tv.
