What exactly is Sapien capable of doing?
Release Date?
Any latest news about it?

its capable of pretty much what sparkedit can do and I think it can do HMT stuff too. I believe it can also natievely do work with offsets.
no specific release date.
no news about it lately...

Yea, it would also (or so you would think) perfect models and stuff when you rebuild a map. With all the time they've taken to release this thing, it better be awesome...

I thought sapien was a map maker, but now I hear everybody making them in 3dsmax and stuff. I think sapien is part of the HEK.

what is the difference between sapien and HEK?

sapien is one of the 10 programs included in the HEK.

yea sapien is part of the "kit" with other things like a way to import new models into the game.

Saipein is a programming company that makes tools. I've downloaded them before. They're just like a hex editor, but on octane.

do you have any clue what your talking about? the HEK is a set of programs from gearbox that allows end users to make their own maps for halo. one of those programs is Sapien. casr closed.
