pelican glitch

every time I PMI a pelican into a map it allways crashes after launching halo and selecting blood gulch. I have attempted this many times and I get the same error every time if anyone could help I would appreciate it. :D

u must have messed up pmi'ing, just keep trying and u will get it right. and if u really cant get it, use l33t's wraith pmi tut over at halopce.com

is it a problem with decrapping? because a lot of the times when I PMI an AI it is there but it looks all glitchy. Most say that's because of bad decrapping.

when u de-crap u add all the verticies and indiceis and sbsp from the bsp folder u extracted the bsp and model sections from in the 2nd step, adn tehn obviously teh mod2.meta of what ever it is

Its impossible to PMI a Pelican into BG. It wont work, so stop trying.

Well, you can PMI it into other maps. It just wont work in BG.

oh now I sort of understand, but the folder that the tutorial tells you to create is called PelicanBG, stating that it is able to be PMI into blood gulch.

Err, since when? I've seen plenty of PMI mods for Blood Gulch, let alone ones with pelicans.

yes I agree I have downloaded replacement maps with the pelican in it what I am going to try is to get a ghost and swap the model and the sounds in HHT that may work because I did that with the longsword fighter.

Show me one, I honestly believe that you can't do it.

And for the ghost idea, it wont have the collision of a Pelican.

there is no difference except for the model which should not make the game crash if swapped.

You cant PMI the Pelican into the map and get it to work.

well apparently the creator of "hunter madness" PMI it into blood gulch successfully. But since I was unable to edit it, I cannot make a pilot seat.
If it was editable I could have done it.
