how do I get an OBJ file of a model into my map?

Just convert it to a .max file before importing it.

ouch umm do u have a mod on? tat has wacky skins like tat and i have a geforce 6600gt it works just fine with halo

Oh, wait this is for PC? lol I thought it was CE. Ok, you can't really make a new item in the game with it. If you want to import it over something, then open up the model file for what you want to save it over and hit inject file browse to the file and open up. It wont work if you did anything beside move the vertices and indices.

i'm sorry but without commas or breaks in sentances your instructions are quite confusing to me. are you trying to say i save it over the model file? if thats the case where would I locate the Model file for whichever weapon (in this case: the sniper rifle)?

firt of all u cant put in ur own models in pc u can only REmodel the models
