Alright what i want to do is mod bloodgulch so there are no banshees unless you shoot them out of a gun as a proj. the problem is when i swap them for somthing else so they do not spawn at the bases, the weapon shoots w/e i swapped them with, not the shee. i have a really good mod idea but i need to figure this out first.

I got a good solution for ya, all you need is hht. Open up the map, select the banshee. Now on the left hand side there will be 3 drop down boxes, with stuff like vehic, obj, and yyyy (if my memory serves me correctly thats what it is for vehicles). That is the header, all you have to do is swap those to be the same match as a proj tag, to find out simply select a proj tag and memorize what they are in that order, then go back to the banshee and make it match the proj tag, then hit the save button. Now the banshee is a proj tag. Next, scroll down to the weapon tag that you want to have the banshee shoot out of, select it and on the right hand side of hht there will be a list of all its dependencies (all the stuff that make the weapon tag). It should be listed with stuff like mod2 - then then tag name here, look for the proj tag, then select it, then undernieth the list is a dropdown menu that has the tag name in it, swap it out with the banshee and hit the swap button. Now that gun will shoot the banshee. Now we have to fix up the banshee spawning so that something else spawns there. Go to the scnr tag in the tag list (the main one where you select tags to edit), and select the only tag in there, give hht a moment to load the tags in the dependency list, it loads all the main tags and such that is used in the level, only edit what I tell you to, editing some of the things in the scnr tag can cause an exception error. Look for the vehi tags in the dependency list. Once you have done that, select and swap out each banshee tag with a vehicle that you want to spawn there, if you dont want anythign to spawn there, select Nulled Out.
I wrote this all from memory, so a few things might differ cause my memory isnt all that good. But thats how you do it without haveing to overwrite the meta id's
