HELP, BSP/Model Selections extracting wont work

i wanted to pmi an energy sword into asualt on control room, but when i tried to extract the BSP/Model Selections i got an error
the error said "illegal charcters in path"
at first i thot that I just had a crapy map,that for some reason wouldn't let let me extract BSP/Model Selections, but then i tried to pmi it in to bloodgulch and i got the exact same error. so then i tried to pmi it into sidwinder, then into beavercreek, and then in to blood guch again, i got same error
how do i fix this problem?
