Blood Gulch Mod Underway

Ok, I have two Ideas here and I'm going to give you both of them.

The first one is a completely unique idea from what I have seen. It requires a bit of modding a gametype and such. Not entirely but just slightly. I will list the map editing that will need to be done and then possible HMT3 changes. Also, if you are interested in doing a collaboration with a group of people or something of the sort or help me in any way please contact me.
1. Turn each base into a 4 to 5 level Citadel or Fortress.
I. Level 1 starts with original Teleporter
II. Ramps or Teleporters to each level
III. All weapons located on Different levels
IV. Scorpion boxed into level 3 or 4 with gun able to shoot out
V. Two more Scorps Boxed in on ground
VI. Hogs on open topped upper level
2. Large Castlesque Structure in middle - Takes up most of middle.
I. Ramps up to level 2
II. No scorps on level 3
III. 4 Ghosts on level 2
IV. Stationary hog guns - Msl modded to fire fuel rods(face both bases on 4th level)
V. Paths connecting the 5th and 2nd levels to both Citadels
3. I want it setup so that in order to win You must pass this Castle, which is where most of the battles should occur for control over it. Pass this castle and then onto the enemy base to nab the flag from either its usual place or the 3rd or 4th level

Gametype change: Vehicles MUST return after time so that those 5th level hogs can return. Kinda want to force the teams into being team players to start an effective siege...also, maybe weaken the tank turret bullets or change them a bit so that there arent campers...make it just be kinda like a super huge stun ya know?

My next idea was just basically hovering levels that connect, the upper being smaller than the middle(2 extra levels) and make these run to basically an ammunition storage for less heavy weps (not the sniper, flame, frg,or rl)And ramps to these levels for hogs

Anyways comment and give some suggestions...i wanna hear what you all think

EDIT: Ok I have taken the First idea and combined it with the 3rd so far. I need to keep it at three levels, and am contemplating adding a 4th possibly. Pictures will come when i am finished with one base.

Blood gulch is the only one lined up enough to actually pull it off. I would suggest Sidewinder, but the ice. Unless you lined the ground with slabs to stop the ice then whatever. next, did you even read the whole thing or did you just see that it was for blood Gulch and say no way? It kinda requires many things in order to make it work right. So unless you know what you are talking about or have a good suggestion stfu.

nice idea

The 2 Bases can't be edited, they are part of the BSP Mesh.

Then build fortresses over them and make the bases basements. :D

I think it would be cool little weird for putting another base on top of a base but ill play it if you make it.

not on top, make the serroundings like a fortress, and leave the normal base as a basement.

sounds extensive, but doable :D

and be sure not to use logs... plates pwnzor.

Yes thats what I mean. Use the new Block model and such. Build the walls up and make it look like it is naturally the base. The area with the flag is basically a basement/bunker that Is only accessible by going from level one. Basement has a teleporter back up to level one.

hmmm... in order to make the plates look more natural and such, you could replace the plate texture with the sidewinder cliff texture... to make it look rockish and whatnot.

Depends on what map is being used. If it is BG then it will be base wall...

Yea, figured that is what I would do. Lol actually...this whole idea came from a bit of a daydream...active mind. I have skills in both hemispheres, math and art, thus making me a military and tactical genius....bwahahaha

once I get to the betaing stage I will prolly need someone to host a server at given times and my selected beta testers and I will join and test around with it, the limits etc...play a few games and see how it plays out...
