Grunts in multiplayer...?

I saw someone who said they did this. Anyone know how?

Also, could you somehow inject the A.I. of a Grunt too?

either they are lieing or they are extremely experienced in modding. either way it would be extremely difficult. i know i dont, and i dont think anyonee on this site knows how to do it. maybe some1 does... i dunno

I'm not quite sure, but I don't think its that difficult, just time consuming. I don't quite remember what it was though. Either replace something's meta or just add it to the end. I think it was the former. Not sure though. I've drawn a blank. Anyways, the grunt of course won't do anything.

Actually it is pretty easy. Hivemind has done it. He told me how to do it a little but he didn't tell me it all cause he wants to keep it a secret. But if I do find out, Hivemind doesn't want me to tell so maybe I'll maybe only make movies and show screens ( sorry ) .

i would really love to just run around the map with 100s of grunts chasing me then just blow them up...now that would be way tight

Yup... Not that hard... Same thing as textures. Save. Import. But you do to a different map and edit some stuff

i read hiveminds post and he told me wut he did but it was not an actuall grunt i dun think it moved but it was textured with grass he said cause somereason thats wut i know i think he injected a model of the grunt then added grass texture

For all of you that don't know BTW, Yayap is a Grunt character(somewhat important) in the book Halo: The Flood.

Do you mean being able to be a Grunt, or putting A.I. Grunts in? I only know how to make Covenant controllable in SP... but this... I just don't know.

That's ridiculous. AI is 98% impossible at this time (and probably still will be when the SDK's released.) And no, I haven't done this I just read something somewhere.........I'll probably never find it.......damn. Anyway, no mod can do that (grunt+AI) yet. But, un-AI-ed grunts are extremely possible.

i didnt say i put in the AI people.. i said i was working on it.. i have gotten sections of ai (making an enemy or friend respawn to sumthing) in mulitplayer (ex. i put another mc in, -with marine AI, shot him, and he turned and look at me) but nothing as close as a full AI

Guh, you can make yourself a Grunt in SP by replacing the "Cyborg" biped with the Grunt biped. You still spawn in the same place and Grunts still shoot you, duh. It's not like the A.I. would recognize you by look. That would take too much time and be very advanced A.I.

yeah, the impressive thing is that mc (or as i will call him "me stupif neanderthal) actually looks at me when i shoot him

u gotta love that though

im still working out the kinks, as you can kill him, but you cant respawn him with an ai yet (as shooting him out of a gun...)
