Make HMT work.
It does absolutely nothing harmful to your computer and it doesnt change any of your personal settings, or it doesnt delete anything off your computer. Im not quite sure what it actually does, but it makes HMT work and thats all I care
Also, animated avitars are not allowed and its way too big

how do i revert a map back to normal?

Assuming you made backups of the maps, go to where you put your backups, copy a fresh map from your backps, go to your halo pc maps folder, and paste the fresh backup map into your halo maps folder and it will overwrite your mod.
If you didnt make backups, all I can tell you to do is re-install halo.

ook. yes i have back ups. ummm also, i am using hmt on beaver creek and when tried making the needler shoot plasma nades, it did nothing but make my screen twitch while in-game.
what is up qith that??

Well, to change projectiles, all you have to do is go to the Projectiles tag, [proj], and click on it, go down to the plasma grenade, click on it, and youl notice up at the top you will see a code, in beaver creek the code for the plasma grenade is: 9E6744. Copy that code, and find the needler projectile, click in it and you will see a different code at the top, paste the plasma grenade projectile (9E6744) over the needler projectile code.
If that is what you did, then I dunno whats up with your mod, thats never happened to me.
And I dont mind helping, so no need to say sorry lol.

great more trouble. i was tring to change the ROF for the pistol, and once i typed in the 1, this came up

it may hafta do with when i didnt install halo to program files, but to diff file.

umm also when i was got the error message when i was changing the rate offire, i ws folloing this:
Heres how we would make the pistol that now shoots needles into an awosome gun:
1. Open HMT and then open the pistol weapon tag.
2. In the tag, open projectile #0
3. Change the min ROF (rate of fire) to 15 and max ROF to 20
4. Change projectiles fired to 10
5. Change the mininum spread to 3E-07 and the max to 6E-07
The smaller the spread is, the more accurate your shot will be
6. Change # of tracers to 7
7. (optional) change ammo per shot to 0 (gives unlimited ammo)
8. Open Needle projectile tag
9. Change the life span to 30, max speed to 0.3333333,
and the min to 0.2333333
There, you now have a pistol that shoots a very fast moving shot which
comprises of 10 needles, a guarenteed kill once it hits (unless its a hunter)
However take note that by increasing the speed of the needle projectile,
it also makes the Needler fire the same fast bullets the pistol does.
what does it mean for #2?

btw, multi-genre, there is an easier ways to get the maps back to normal... ok, pop in your halo pc disc, and go to my computer. right-click on the halo icon, and it explore. go to CabFiles. there should several .rar files, all the maps are in there (including the bitmaps, sounds, etc. files)
