I'm trying to play as a different character other than master cheif(cyborg). Do i need a special plug in or what. I'm using halo mapin tools v3.5

Do you want to play as a different character in Campaign or Multiplayer?

Form multiplayer you will have to PMI the character in, for campaign you can PMI characters that are not in the map into the map but you dont have to because there should be other bipeds, anyways in your map go to Bipd go to lets say elite copy the meta go back to the MC and overwright the meta.

Or use a Halo PC trainer, you can find some at Halomaps.org, WARNING don't use online, read intructions on how to use it.

if you can find the halo dev trainer you can do some really freaky stuff with it, just be carefull not ot pass through a loading point when possessing someone other than the MC

dude i rely sorry i bet i sound like a tard but im new to modding. i dont get how to put in the PMi or w/e ur talking about im sorry but im a noob. and yes im trying to play as a grunt in multiplayer

Yeah, I got stuck once while a hunter, and couldnt get out of wraith as elite

yeah, any time i plan on character bumping i be certain to change the AR to spt out MC bipeds and scatter several in safe places so i can get back into him at the change of a map.
