Sweet MOd with new weapons

Hey im making a mod that will have all the old weapins as long as an entire set of new ones. These will include the energy sword, the Battle Rifle, The SMG, a grenade launcher, a nuke laucher (it will be hidden) and a laser beam. I just need to know, should i use deathisland or bloodgulch for this mod?

There are way to many Blood Gulch mods, as it is the most modded Halo map, but then again, Death Island is way to big to host a couple players. How about both?

Hey thx for your info dude. I think i will do both. But since people seem to favor death island a little more ill make that one first. Oh and one quick question. Anyone know how to make the energy sword for mp? I think i sorta got a vague idea.

OMFG I cant believe you asked that! Dude we have all been trying to figure that out forever, but it's ok, to answer your question, well no one really knows yet... But they also didn't know how to put in the Pelican so.

yeah well someone will figure it out sooner or later. I actually read about how someone put a "fake" energy sword in mp. They took the plasma pistol and made a energy sword skin then they used lighting effects to make it glow. After that they disabled fire and increased the melee damage.

Nice. I think i no who can. There is this dude who made a battle axe, so that it like a giant axe with 1 hit kill. He made a funny vid, but this was like 2 months ago...........

wait, what do you mean?
anyway, Im pretty sure that what mono did was he extracted all the peli info into DI but before he rebuilt, be changed the ref tags to accurately reflect what position they shoud now refer to, so I'm sure you could do the same with the energy sword...

Yeah well thats harder then it looks. I tried to put the peli into death island by map rebuilding and it didn't work. I didn't even get a chance to get an exception error because my map wouldn't even rebuild properly. It kept telling me "a dependency was referred to that does not exist". So, i guess the only way i can learn how to put the energy sword in is if i get hold of mono. He never tells anyone his secrets anyways.....

that wouldnt be too hard... just time consuming
Im not a noob in any way, that method's not beyond me, just would take me too much time...
