Can any one tell me how to make the FP visible, i PMI'd the Energy Sword and all but when i try it it never works can u guys help me?\
dont tell me to search i searched for maybe an hour

you would need CE tags to be converted to PC, then rebuild them into a map...

how would i go about doing this?

no, since there is no fp model in pc for the sword

not entirely true there is anuther way.

yes it is true the sword has no fp model but it is possible to remodel anuther gun to look like a sword , plasma rifle would be best for this. Then you would use HHT to dependancy swap the swords fp model with the plasma rifles fp model you edited to look like a sword.

if that doesent work try dependancy swapping the 3p model of the plasma rifle with that of the sword and then editing the fp model to look like a sword as stated above. you would hav to remove the firing of the plasma rifle and stuff but would ony be a 2 minit job

so as far as i know that wouldnt make it glow anymore. that and i want to use the plasma rifle in the same mod. so would there be a way to tell the game that there is an fp model and that its the same model just named energy sword fp? that or take the xml docs and change them to use a fp model like the other weapons and just copy the plasma rifle fp folder and change some things?

you could duplicate the plasma rifle FP and use that as an FP model, but its IMPOSSIBLE and i repeta IMPOSSIBLE to get the energy sword glow in fp, the engine will NOT alow it.

yeh so use the glow from the plasma rifle mbyou could increase how much it glows?

You can set a field ofmarkers around the model to imitate a glow, but that requires more CE rippage and 3ds Max. Bad idea.

well then how come when i use the sword tag i get a glow?i would think adding an fp model wouldnt take it away.
