why does my moddel show up on the ground and not in my hand

when i look at it on the ground its the way i moddeled it but when i pick it up its not

this happens a lot... be careful what you apply as a texture...
once I tried to apply a texture to the ghost and instead the whole walls plastered in it...

im using milkshape and im importing models it works for all the vehicals i model but not the weapons whats goin on i never apply any textures i dont think so at least

Third-person and first-person models are completely different. If you wanted to completely change a weapon's model, you'd have to change both of those. Sounds like you only altered the third-person perspective one. This is the same reason the gravity rifle can't be seen when you're holding it; it doesn't have a first-person model.

well all im doing is editing the vertices and the only models there are to extract are different vertices like 2349 and 901 not fps or tps

U need to edit the fp (AKA= First Person) Model too
