Ground on Fire?

How would I make the ground constantly be on fire? I am making this for a map mod. Please respond with answers.

Swap the ground meta with the burning particle flame meta mb?

I tried thaat. I got the flamethrower burning meta from the effects tag and tried to put it in for the ground meta in bitmaps. it did not work.

Covering the entire ground will cause HUGE lag.
You have to have it in areas, so as not to slow the game.
(This is something (XY)matt, Mattae and myself have been working on over at halopc.net.)

PMI the burning_flame emmiter and place alot of them on the ground. May cause major FPS lag. ;)

Flame emitter's not Really big enough on its own. you will need a LOT of them. Check out the Gephyrophobia mod in the Outstanding forum, thats has pretty much all the FX in one map....

I already PMIed AI into the map and i don't know if you can PMI more than once. Is there a way to it without PMIng like use the flamethrower burning

Not that I know of..... You can't PMI into a rebuit map as far as I know.
