I need some real help here.

Im in need of help with a few things. Maybe you can help.

1. How can i make a tank cannon continuously shoot out flames like a flame-thrower instead of a tank shell (no overheation and no reloading and i want to be able to see the flame)?

2. How can i make pictures or write on the cliffs of levels?

3. Are there any free app's that are like adobe that i can use to edit vehicle design?

4. How can i get rid of overheation (flamethrower, plasma pistol, plasma rifle)?

5. How can I get a weapon to fire like a flamethrower (tons of particles at once and continuously)?

6. How can i get infinite health?

7. How can i make it night time in my levels?

8. How can i make the fire from the flamethrower into a blue flame or plasma?

9. How can i make warthogs fly?

10. Can i make a vehicle have secondary fire like the tank and shee?

11. How can i get the wraith into a map?

A good number of these are easilly searched for, but I'll answer some of them. dont' expect too much in the way of specifics since I can't remember exactly off the top of my head.

And to do some of these, you'll probably need Phenom's 60 Pluggin Pack

1) Do a projectile swap in HMT. It will be under the [proj] tag in HMT. This only works on maps with the flame thrower in it. Otherwise you'll have to PMI and then do the swap. You'll also have to edit the rate of fire in the [weap] tag.

2) Do some reskinning with HMT. Go to the [bitm] tag and find the pic used to make the cliffs. From there, extract the one you want to change (the cliff wall) change it. Save it. And re-inject.

3) I would suggest poking around the 'Applications' section of the Files Forum. You should be able to find what you need there.

4) In HMT, go into the [weap] tag and raise the 'heat loss per second'

5) In HMT, go into the [weap] tag and adjust the rate of fire up to where you'd like it. You might have to experiment on this one.

6) Not really sure. Have you done some searching?

7) Not really sure, but I do know there are some tutorials on this specific subject.

8) For a blue flame, try swapping out the bitmap of the flame thrower projectile with a copy you made blue with photoshop (look for tutorials on skinning). To make it a plasma bolt instead, try a projectile swap.

Edit: Ok, I'm not 100% sure on the skinning idea since the bitm is flat black. I'll try and see what I come up with, but no promises.

9) I believe you swap out the physics with that of the banshee, but I'm not sure, never having tried it.

10) I'm not sure. Though I'm pretty sure there's a tutorial out there.

11) PMI. There are tutorials. Lots of them.

yeah therea are lots of tuts on pmiing and you can find a secendary fire tut in the tuts sect i saw it recently

the flamethrowing take still isn't working. i switched the proj tags and changed the rate of fire to that of the flamethrowers and it doesn't work. does anyone know what i can do?

u want 2 see it? and if you want it to go on to the other side of the map you have to st the life up

Yes, I do want to see it and I do want it to reach a far distance. But I also want it to work. I changed the rof but I don't think its working. So, how may I see it?

not entirely shure but i would try using HHT to swap some dependancys so that the cannon isnt thought of as the cannon by the game but yet a flamethrower. and i dont just meen the proj i meen the entire weapon.

Ok, can someone just give me a detailed and checked tutorial on how to make a visable (to me) flamethrowing tank.

be careful, bumpy = locky. Just hope that an admin doesnt see this.

As for the tut, look around the file forums for tuts, i go there most of the time. :roll:
