rocket trail

ok im back from moding with a question
u know how a rocket leaves behind and smoke trail??
how do i change that to a flame trail??

in HHT go under the contrails tag (cont) and swap the dependancy from the rocket exhaust to the efect/particle/flame or something like that. in theory it should work but i cant test it as im working on a covenent bloodgulch and my RL is a plasma cannon. hope it helps j00

The dependency to swap for is flame char.

ok i chekd it out and i was wrong. j00 have to go to the projectile [proj] tag and change the 15th dependancy (pctl) to weapons\flamethrower\efects\fp_defoliant3. it will still fire the rocket and it will explodinate on impact. this is the only way ive found to exchange the smoke for fire. j00 can use other flamethrower flames, [weapons\flamethrower\efects\defoliant] gave a big flame that fizled into smoke
[weapons\flamethrower\efects\defoliant2] gave a smaller flame that fizzled into smoke
[weapons\flamethrower\efects\fp_defoliant3] just gave a flame
[weapons\flamethrower\efects\fp_defoliant2] kina the same as the first
thus, weapons\flamethrower\efects\fp_defoliant3, is the one j00 want to use for a pure flame coming out of j00r launched rocket.

or u can just change the contrails in hmt too...

no offence, but first off everybody should have map backups or atleast have them on the game disk if they intend to tweek maps. second, if j00 use HMT then no. but i will admit when i first started i never made backups.
