A.I. improvements?

Hey guys, I'm a first time poster here. I can handle hex swapping and such using HMT, but are there any existing mods which allow for Marines to use A.I. that parallels the Elites? I'd also like my marines to drive the Hog, Tank, and pilot other vehicles... would anyone be able to direct me to maps that do this already?
I also watched a video some time ago of someone that claimed to have installed A.I. in multiplayer maps so that you could fight against bots offline... Thanks in advance for any answers you're able to provide.
