im a good modder and ive looked all over hmt3 but i cant find how to do this

obviously you're not that great of a modder if you can't figure out how to shoot some MCs....it's all basically HEX swapping... I'll give you a hint: look under BIPEDS for a model called "Cyborg"; thats the MC model

sorry if that came out a little flame-ish... i didnt mean to, but the best thing to do on these forums is to admit you're a n00b to the modding scene isnstead of pass yourself off as a pro... again, i'm not trying to flame, im just giving you a heads up. Take care and happy modding

well the thing is that im not a newb this is just one thing i didnt know how to do i never said u=i was a pro however. so what do i do with it then i no what the biped thing file is but do i have to rebuild the map what do i do with it

join an online game, shoot what ever moves, it will most likely be a cyborg

hahahahah barber your a prick lol...a very funny prick tho lol....ok, first off, dont bother using HMT... use a hex editor, then use iron forges offsets for the level you want to shoot MCs in, then change the projectile of the weapon of choice with the value of the Biped Cyborg

its probebly easier in hmt. for non newbs at least.

counter strike taught me to love 50 health halo mode.

Ok here is how you do it... open up hex editor...
(BACK UP BLOOD GULCH FIRST!) Then open up blood gulch in hex editor and press ctrl-g then put in 00853F10 then when it takes you there replace AfAA6440 with 40408F40 Then save and have fun!

look dude, if none of these guys r gonna tell u how to do it then i will... dont get me wrong tho, im a semi-noob at modding and these guys kik major ass at everything with modding so i have mucho respecto for them so im not trying to be an asshole, jst a little sarcastic lol... anyway... you go to biped, and when u clik on cyborg there the tag info flap shood come down, then there will be 3 drop down menus wiht a bunch of abbreviations in them... the first one shood be se to biped, scroll around and find "proj".

then click on "proj" and then click save. it should automatically bring you to the projectiles menu and then u should see "characters/cyborg...blah blah blah" then you just click on the guns bullet that u want to shoot MC's (for intance, the plasma pistol bolt is popular) and select "swap" in the tag info flap. then u find the characters thingy and clik on it. then click on SAVE. make sure u clik SAVE so u dont have to swap again... and then u enjoy...

2 P.S.'s - 1. dont shoot too many of these guys cause they lag the game... and 2. this si done using HMTv3
