Taking the plunge

Hello All! I'm net to theese forums as you can probably see. I've always played mods, but now that halo as come out for PC, i've finnaly decided to take the plunge and get into making my own mods, but I was wondering, Does anyone know of a Hex editing tutorial that teaches you all about hex edditing, not just a "past this to this to get this" kinda tutorial. Thanks!

lol ignore him we here at halomods have put up with n00bs for way to long so if you dont wanna get flamed then spend time looking for stuff first, and then even if youve scanned the site and the forums then you probably wont get screamed at.

I don't get it...I thought the HEK was out when I first started modding...I looked through all the forums, found my answer, looked at the tutorials, and here I am, without creating a single topic. I seriously don't get why other people can't do that.
