Scenery Changes

In Timberland, I want to put a big boulder on top of the mountain, and also, take out some of the lights. Well, I've done this, but when I serve a game, the players don't see the changes.

Is there a way to get this to work? It work w/ vehicles, but not scenery. Could there be some trick?

I did try to search through other postings but I couldn't find a straight-forward answer, and I'm not interested in reading any posts with the subject "need help" or something to that affect.

Vehicle data transfers through the netcode, while scenery does not.

Ok...so is there a way to mod it such that scenery is seen as vehicle data?

That also doesn't make sense. How come you can import vehicles that don't belong on that map, as scenery, yet the vehicles, which are now technicially, scenery, now show up?

It's not exactly called "scenery." That's just how the program shows it. It imports with it's proper coding.

you could always make it into a PPF and send it to the people who want to use it. Then they could put it onto their map and see the changes.

I can't just give 'em the mod. That would suck, since I'd put this on a public server.

You could always tell them how to make the mod... or send it privately over MSN or through Email or something. other than that, they'll never be able to see it.

Ok please don't respond if you're not going to answer the question. Let me reiterate, I do not want to have to send the map file to anyone. I want the mod to be visible by everyone when the map is only on the server. Got it??

Than it isnt possible. Unless it a mod to something that sends its data through the server, its not possible. You might be able to mod things to get their data through the server, but I SERIOUSLY doubt it. And if you could, it would be completly re-making aspects of the game.

and by the way, there was no need to flip out like that, just trying to help you and be informative to what you would need to do.
