As you can see, the 3p enery sword model looks like a plasma pistol with an energy sword skin! I need 3p models that can be injected over the plasma pistol's 3p models. And also there are pictures to model by.

for 3p models of the energy sword pmi it in then go in2 HHT go on weapons, then plasma pistol ,tag dependancy swap

MOD2-weapons/plasmapistol/plasmapistol

with MOD2 - weapons/energysword/energysword

i have a fist person model of a energy sword but its for plasma rifle and its not finished yet.

i cant help you with the smg model tho

can't you do this with hmt? i personally find that to be a better tool for begginers, and if you have a wavefront obj plugin for max or if you have ms 3d, it isn't waaaay to hard to just work a bit harder on editing it. but that's just my solution for your smg. i would listen to cheesey on the sword tip.

agreed ^ apart from the bit bout hmt? what you mean swapping the dependencies for the energy sword? can be done with HMT but it sucks for tag dependancy swapping as it ushually messes up and causes the dreded exeption! message arrhg................

yeh i agree with MCPOStefan on the thing bout the smg just keep trying ...

Tip put a all black skin on it with lighter bits around the edges and currpted or messy verticies wont be quite so aparent in all it will make the model look a hell of a lot neater gd luck

you know what....everytime i would PMI an energy sword into bloodgulch i would get an exeption... anyways the smg looks a bit like it...smooth it out a bit

no offense to (XY)Matt hes oblivisly gav it a gd attempt but the smg looks nothing like the real thing it hasent got a stock for starters just look at his model and the smg renders ............. ull c the difference

2. We can see that his SMG isn't that good, but it is pretty good for a begginer. Its better than I could do, thats for sure.

The smg model doesnt look much like an smg, but it looks cool.

i like the smg and it isnt even that good

but the battle rifle is pretty good

personally, i love the smg model, i think he has the general idea and is well on his way to making it good. i can see how he got it to where it is, and i know that from that point it is very easy to get the general shape of it looking good, if not the details. of course, i use 3ds max, which is teh roxxorz, so everything is easy

actually, i would like to know what program you used for that editing. please tell us.

I agree, my first model (energy sword) was worse than that SMG up there. Bassically, it looked like an energy sword that was boiled and melted in molten lava, then smashed with a sledge hammer. No joke either, it was all crooked and bent. one tip was a lot longer than the other, and the handel... well im not going to go their. Don't worry, most peoples first models arnt very good. Just keep at it. If I knew anything about it other than the obvious, then I'd help.



OffTopic: lol, sorry about that n00b traslator thing. Its just a little thing we did over at xbox.com. newbies would come on, rush their posts, not look for the info, make major spelling mistakes, and then act like a n00b. 7h15 l@ngu@g3 g07 7h3 717l3 n00b1sh. Can you even understand that? Probably not, so the "translator" would translate (This Language got the title n00bish) un-intelligable spelling, and n00bish. thus the name. N00b Translator. Being a member at Xbox.com, has given me, and many of its other members, the knowledge of the n00bish language. I can understand and speak it. There is my story about the translator lol.

hey man if you can get that pistol in a ppf form i would really like to use it with your permission...maybe the battle rifle? they look SO cool...bloodgulch if its ok or death island wichever

so beautiful with that pistol in my opinion but you did good...i dont care what anyone says about that pistol! but it could be better...maybe make it more detailed i cant stress how in my opinion how creative that pistol is...give the Battle rifle maybe...give its scope the color of an actiive camo core?

wait, when did we start discussing battle rifles whatever, keep up the effort, and tell us how the sword is going.
