i cant see you!

ok, i was just making a rifle mod, no details given yet(ill pist a link when i put up a topic) and i had some trouble with the displays on the AR(for n00bs thats the assault rifle), anyway, i was having a problem with part of the displays, the general dark blue background had formed a point going into nowhere and the compass was stretched, and i was just thinking, and i came up with the idea, i could just make them invisible!, duh!.

anyways, i was just askin you guys is there anythng on BG(Bloodgulch) that is invisible, or do i have to rebuild the map with cryo glass or something? im sorry if theres already topics posted on this but i dont have the time right now,i will post a pic of it later.

plz help me.

i beleive it is part of the ar skin, you just make that part trnsparent with photoshop. but if it is a hud thing, swap it with something else. but im not sure. just experiment.

ok i thought of maybe the windscreen of the warthog?
any way, my photoshop trial expired and now i am left with nothing to edit skins etc.


btw, i am looking for a good skinner to make it look like a rifle and also a program to convert the sound of the rifle off battlefield 1942 to the right format for halo.

well...if you want photoshop back you can always format your harddrive and download it again... :lol:

cool, but, as i said, i didnt have much time last night.
i used cryo glass but now it just looks like shards of glass stickin out. can someone plz make cryo glass transperant in photoshop then send it to me at [email protected]

PLZ can someone PLZ tell me a program to convert the rifle.wav into the right format!

and dont say it already is because its the wrong .wav format.

actually im gonna search aswell, and try another sound off another game

i did get one, but when i convert to ADCMP format, or whatever it is, and try and import it, it says its invalid format, im gonna pm beastman, his mod involved new sounds... or maybe dankbutter, probably both both.

i think i got mine from download.com, but ill try anyway, thanks for the help.

apdcm or whatever it is:
you have to add a .vox to the end and use a .vox to .wave converter to get it back :d, it works

:D Readable. tutorial on exporting :D .
1. Open HMT3
2. go to sounds and find the sound u want
1.click on export, when u export be sure to put the letters .vox at the end of the file name...
2. download this: Avs thingy and install it...
3. use it to convert from .vox to whatever u want... enjoy.. :P :mrgreen:

that looks like a prob with the model, but you could use cryoglass.

yeh, i tried that but it still just looks like shards of glass.
i stuffed halo up a bit so i decided to start again, but this time i started with the shotgun, as it has the sights and looks more like a rifle.
ive made the model now and need a good skin, i attempted it myself but im having problems importing it. i save it as DXT3 format says must be DXT3, so i try DXT1 and then it says must be DXT1, its really weird, i do use its existing mip maps also, can someone help me?
