Profiles won't leave

I modded the Infinity map using Sparkedit and HMT.
The major problem I have is when a player leaves, whether the player quits or is kicked. The player himself leaves the game, but the profile is still on the player list. The profile remains on the player list until the game is over and restarts. In the meantime, if that player tries to rejoin the game he or she can't because they are already "there". Nothing I try removes the player profile before the game reboots.
I would be grateful for any help.
