did u hex edit the numbers of vertices and uh.. the other thing in the map?
cause i did the same thing and i got an exception, then i edited the numbers of vertices and crap and it worked.

I heard someone once say to fix a model open the .obj in notepad and change all commas to decimals. Try that if the model is givin u exception

I believe that was only to fix invalid .objs. it doesnt mean u would be able to do that.
but as for the hex edit way. someone really needs to make a tutorial on that!

ok about the vertices and uh... the other thing (I cant remember it)

halo loads models by using the number of vertices that are in the .map file
so if the number of vertices in your model and the number of them in your .map file arent the same then halo crashes

you have to open up the map in a hex editor and find the ammounts, there somewhere by the bottom, and put the ammount from ur custom .obj in to the map.

i have maya...and it WASNT d/l'ed illigelly

and that goes for $6000.00, but it was a gift from the NYFA after i finished my 1yr Session :)
