Tank side seats

Anyone know what controls why you cannot enter the tank passenger seats without a driver? After looking around the map file I'm coming up blank.

Not a clue. Have you tried changing the properties of the side seats in HMT so they have driver privileges?

Gunner seat that you can enter without a driver.

Well, it is possible to have one person drive and a passenger shoot and aim the turret. But it requires a person in the driver seat. Have you tried changing one of the side seat's name to that of the warthog gunner seat?

Do any of you guys know how to access the passenger side of the tank? Like you know how the driver gets in the middle, well right next to it is an identical seat, i was wonering if anyone knew how to get in that.

That seat is just a covering, it's there in the other model for sp which is different. It has the covering like the sp tank does.

It even says in the Halo instruction manual, "Crew: 2 (or one Cyborg)" Im convinced that is another seat just like the one you get in. One day Ill make a mod were one person gets in one seat to drive and the other gets in the other side to aim and shoot, yeah itll be awsome.

It is a seat in the storyline but in actuallity there is no compartment in the model.

Yeah thats what i figured, but it will be cool to some how acess it with some high tech modding.

Well, in HMT3 you can select a passanger seat on the tank and check the box that says "fires vehicle weapons" and uncheck "fires MC weapons" Then select the the driver seat and uncheck "fires vehicle weapons". Still, the gunner would be outside of the tank, unless you check "MC is invisible".... 
...even then, you may still get hit and you could only have 3 "true" passangers (but who honestly would hang on to the tank tread in MP?)
Try it, see if it works...

No I already did that, now I need someone to test or a way to get in side without a driver.
