yes i you can do it that way but is there any way you edit halo so you have the option to drop them.

swap the projectile of a weopon with the grenade and adjust it there i think

rebuild the ma with the sp grenade equipment meta, overwriting the meta that is already there. that should make it so that they explode when shot. no clue whatsoever on how to make you drop them. make the projectile of the other nade be the equipment and somehow make both use th same ammo?

why dont you change weight to something really high and put the xplode delay higher, not the perfect solution but the easiest.
