Hex Editor questions

Why is it I tried to edit Blood Gulch, and whenever I try to play it , it encounters an exceptions?

I took the pistol and replaced the projectile value to a tank shell value.
I'm having fish tonight!!!

Do u have a mac? Someone posted that they had a mac and that same thing didn't work.

No, but could trying it on LAN affect the gameplay?

I always test my mod out on LAN play. I know it's not because of that. If it doesnt work then you probably did something wrong.

Go to Hex editor and go to the offset of the pistol projectile bullet. Then type in the value of the tank shell. Then save and try it out. Your pistol should shoot tank shells. If that doesn't work then something else is wrong and I dont know what to tell ya. 8)

Well, theres this thing that came out called Halo Map Tools 3...... :P

You can just swap. Why use Hex Editor?

Hex Editor is better...just not easier.
