explode on death

yo, i wanted to know how i would make it so that when master chief dies he explodes into oblivion. Can anyone help me?

(btw, its for multiplayer on PC)

Well, If you have phenomena's plugins, then make a new weapon called self destruct, check the "Doesnt count towards max..." flag and the "Detonates when droped" flag. That should work.

P.S. tell me if it works!

Wouldn't quite work, you'd always have that weapon on you which would get annoying.

That'd be easy. The problem would be that it would still be there. When cycling you'd have an invisible weapon along with 2 other guns.

I dont mean invisible like that, but invisible so that when you are cycleing through your weapons, you only see 2 weapons.

You could set grenades to detonate when dropped?

Yeah, because they explode anyway. The only problem that I can think of would be the grenade might explode right when it leaves your hand, or right when it hits the ground. (which might be good or bad)

I think if you look in the biped tag in HHT. Over in the right window there's
a pair of Effects [effe] that are nulled out.

In a vehicle tag these are the partial damage and destruction effect
dependencies. You might try swapping the lower one of the two.
Search the drop down box for Vehicles\scorpion\shell explosion.

I dont have HHT with me, so dont be surprised if it doesnt work. It's just
an educated guess. :)

The grenade detonate when dropped should work. When you throw you throw a projectile, so it won't explode on throw. The only problem would be that a) it explodes before you even pick it up (shouldn't) b) it doesn't explode, just disappears and c) if you have no grenades, you don't blow up.

yeah swapping the blood effect with an explosion effect would just make mc explode everytime he gets shot. and i dont think dropping nades would work.

one thing with decoys, is u usually drop more than one, so they would shoot across the level

what if you swap the shield depletion effect for an explosion? that way you can get shot a few times without blowing up

biped plugin = flag = disapears when dies or something like that, that in HHT do what decoy said >_>
