warthog question

is there a way to stop the warthog chaingun from spinning? because I made a pretty good model of the gauss hog out of the chaingun hog but the barrel keeps rotating.

I'm not even sure is this can be done. Put it into CE with a custom vehicle without animations. That would be much easier.

Couldn't you just collapse the barrel model and then take the gun model and make your own barrel sticking out of that. Seems easier.

it would be easier but then id have to skin it all differently.
