no cause in my bg everything is really dark i dont know why but at my nephew's place his bg is really light sow he can see me easily but i cant see him

You could swap the torch effect for soemthing that generates heaps of light... that MIGHT work...

Yeah, that could work, but I think he actually means glow as in generate light, not just shinyness.

Go to the bitmaps in HMT. under cyborg there should be something called cubemap. It should be purple. Extract it and mess with it in photoshop to your liking and stick it back in.
