A.I. Help (please)

Hey everyone, I just wanted to first of all say I appreciate all of the help you give me from these forums, it is very useful. 8)

And my question,

Well, I added A.I. to a multiplayer level, in the bipeds category, including the MC. I switched the Master Chief's team to Human instead of Player along with the rest of the human A.I. Then I moved them to scenery and imorted them in spark edit.

Now when I started a game, they just stood there, and the Elites, Jackals, Marines and MC all turned red on my weapon reticle, all of which would not move or anything, they just had their normal flinch and "OW!" reflex to fire and injury. All of the A.I. information is there, I'm just not sure which category it is and how to apply it to the models, any help please?

*Even if someone knows of a tutorial, or would like to personally help me out, that would be more than I could ask for, again, thanks for anything :D *

well, it did involve some Halo:CE materials, I am (on another note) importing CE vehicles into PC maps, and having a little trouble there.

You should ask knave about importing CE>PC. About the AI:

You placed the Bipeds. You didn't do anything with the AI itself, except add it to the map. You have to actually place them inside the map. Do this by putting the actv into a vehicle. Flip the vehicles over in SparkEdit if you want them to start out side of the vehicles.

how do I add the actor variant to a vehicle. can i do it in HMT?

No, you'll have to do it with HHT, add the actv dependancy to the second actv. If the vehicle has more seats, more actv will be there.

and then flip the warthog upside down in spark edit and place the bipeds outside..? What if I want to add ....say grunts or jackals? (sorry for all the questions,lol, there isnt really a tutorial on this one)

No need to add Bipeds, just the actv, it contains the biped.

(just explaining so you actually learn stuff :P)
