i want to make a map.....but not from scatch.....

theres my situation, and i don't really have time to make it from scratch because the next competition our team is going to is in about 2 weeks, and im a begginer so is there any way that i can reimport first person models and change a whole maps mapping??? or could i just make a big box with windows that i could put in the sky of a level with the arena in there??? ANY feedback helps so please post.....and i really don't care which version this is in....CE or just Halo as long as i can do it.....
