Someone was asking about adding flames to vehicles,
in particular the Warthog, and now I cant find the posting!!!

Anyway, its real simple, see below.
Hard landing generating loads of flame.



and.... The flaming Donut!



Apologies if its all been done before, I looked around,
but didn't find anything. Using HMT it in the [part] particles drop list.
The effect you want is
effects\particles\flash\burning.
It will not only give you flaming tires, you can use this value
to replace any number of smoke and impact effects in the list.
( but as always, make a back up first. )

P.S. dont swap the generic smoke efects unless you want a blaze
of flame coming out of all your weapons! (see below)

What do you swap the burning effect with to make the flames on impact?

Work your way down the [part] particle list, you're looking for stuff like

/rock dust
/sand impact
/sparks impact
/dirt blast

Pretty much anything with sand, dirt, rock and impact. I get a string of flame if you grind the banshee
or hog along a wall and small trails of fire along the ground from the chain gun on a hog.

Just watch out for some of the
\air
\smoke
effects unless your making a "Halo Hell" mod!

I haven't tried them all one at a time yet. If anyone isolates a particular swap thats really cool,
please add to the post!

Glad you think its refreshing, since I put it up again last week I've seen at least half a dozen "mods" with flames on tires!

Its getting to be almost as commonplace as joining a "Cool modded bloodgulch" game only to find yet another A*****E spawn sniping from the clifftops, while vehicles randomly drop from the sky.
