when u open it up in photoshop or paint shop pro when the pop up wind comes up (i forgot what it said) click no
and it will open like i should

well if this is ur skinned pistol and this is happening that means that when u save ur clicking use existing mip maps. u will want to check generate mip maps instead

Make sure when you open up your DDS editing program, you click No for displaying MIPMAPS.
