Destoyed Banshee

I made a destuctable banshee for sidewinder AND i had it so that when it destroyed, it swapped itself for the destroyed banshee model with the corresponding destoyed banshee bitmaps. After i gloried my accomplishment i tried doing the same things to bloodgulch but the model didn't swap when it destroyed. Now i can't remember what i did to do that. Can someone please remind me? Thank you

You could just import the vehicle tag from SP.

Yeah i've tired but as expected it doesn't work because in most cases, you can't inject tags from different maps from different vehicles, SP=Banshee MP=Banshee_mp... but i have the sidewinder version still so im gonna try to figure out what i did, and injecting the meta from the sidewinder doesn't work either.

I PMed you. Make sure you download the bloodgulch one that I found I had copied, not the sidewinder. But the only thing is that the banshee is only destructable when occupied, so you must get close to the ground and fire a banshee fuel rod so it will kill you. I did this with the occupied flag on, you can change it if you want.

Well i've discovered that PMI works, but what's weird is that i didn't PMI the banshee SP. I remember swapping some dependencies. I might have changed an offset but the PMI works anyway. Thanks

its called pmi...
I know, he asked if i could inject the metas, PMI-ing makes the .map file larger and the way i did it does not require PMI.

Anyway, I can make a desructable banshee easy, but can get the HUD interface to work with it.

(in simple terms, i can't give it a health meter.)

Well that's what happened to me too when i did it. When you PMI it in you get the health meters AND there's an extra effect that happens when it is destroyed. But if you don't want to PMI you could set the partial damage threshold to smoke so the player knows when they're in danger
