PMI from converted CE maps?

Is it possible (without Mr. E popping round) to PMI a model (namely the Battle Rifle) from a CE map (namely a variant of NM) which is converted to PC? Because I'm hard at work for now on a Halo 2 SP mod, and I need this to work. I haven't got the time to do it myself (swamped with work, and a party (mine) next weekend, we're gonna play Halo 2 non-stop all weekend.

should be possible, it's easy enough to get regular CE/Pc stuff to switch.
