how do you convert map files like bloodgulch to ppf files so it will be a quicker download?

PPF-O-Matic is what most people use I believe. That or PPF-Studio. Check the files forum under utilities. Or just Google it.

You can't just PPF any normal map. You PPF a modded map, and then patch the normal map.

PPF-O-MATIC is used for applying PPFs whereas PPF-Studio is used for making them. :wink:

Rebuild maps cannot be PPF...afied

If a mod is done and the size did not change you can. Remember Skins are in bitmap.map not the level...lemem find my tutorials on ppf-o-matic and ppf-studio::::::
