AS SOON AS I START UP HPC I GET THIS BOX ( NOT REALL AN ERROR BUT IT IS GAY ) THAT SAYS:

THEN I JUST SIT THERE AND WAIT FOR LIKE A MINUTE THEN THERES THIS OTHER BOX THAT COMES UP THAT SAID ALL THIS CRAP AND AT THE TOP SAID:

We are sorry for the inconvience but halo has to close

blah blah blah

send dont send

AND TI CLOSES CAN SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME WITH THE PROBLEM I ALREADY REINSTALLED IT TWICE!

I reccomend you contact customer support and contact them this means your CD is probably FAKE!! Did you download a crack? Prolly did. I don't trust those crack sites. I tried once and got a Trogan virus, fortunately I clicked cancel before it finished.

You reinstalled twice? Hmm...
Mostly it's because a Mod has gone wrong. In this case, it hasn't. Like Pickels said, try to contact M$ or something.

Could you please refrane from typing in pure caps? It get's kind of annoying....

Perhaps you have a faulty installation, make sure that all the Halo fiels are deleted then try re-installing?

If not, once again call Support lol

Hes right/A mod must have corrupted a file.Have you tried playing without modding?Or it never loads,mods or not.

Did you use a mod? If not, you DEFINITELY should contact microsoft for technical support. And don't type in all caps, on the internet, that's shouting.

...i was shouting...and yes i was modding...but i reinstalled and deleted everything i could think of that had to do with halo PC....it was only 3 things..is that too little lol can some1 like make a list of stuff i should delete and when i reinstalled i hit repair corrupted files and i uninstalled then installed once today

reinstall halo...

All you gotta do is go to unistall hit reinstall and then click fix corrupted files or whatever and the hit yes to all

*(NOTE: it will undo all the mods that are in your game it will reinstall all the messed up files)

i did that...didnt work...ok it doesnt matter anymore i got DSL and am downloadin HCE....so w.e idc sorry but its not important terribly sorry for the forum usage that i didnt need

ok i downlaoded Halo CE and it doesnt work god damn it i cant fuckin figure this out GOD DAMN IT it says cannot allocate required memory another program has loaded where halo needs to be loaded ( for Halo CE ) damn ill make another forum in da HCE section

No, you can just reinstall, and check whatever says "check for sorrupt maps?". That replaces them if they are modded.

Don't you need the original Halo PC to download and operate CE? Anywayz, maybe it's a bitmap issue or something. Happened to me before and I had to completely reinstall. It's a pain but at least it worked

Nah, you don't need PC installed to play CE, you just need a CD key

delete the folder labeled 'halo'

do a search for any files named or related halo and delete them

open your registry and delete all entrys with a reference to halo (be very VERY VERY carefull when you do this so you don't kill your computor)

re-install halo

ALTERNATELY:
back up all important files to a CD or some other storage media

F-Disk your hard drive(s)

re-install halo



ALSO

make sure you are installing halo onto the C:\ drive, or go to www.hackhalo.com and get the patch that let's you run a copy of halo installed on a non C:\ drive.

uh...confusing ^^^^ .....i guess ill live without it but atleast i get to play on the weekends

I think i know what caused your problem. Have you downloaded a trainer for Hpc? If you did remove it, Or if you haven't dl'd a trainer. Just restore it til a day it actually worked! I had this b4 When I Installed a .ppf file wrong, I deleted maps uninstalled what ever you could think of I did, And I restored and got my regular files back,

restore your pc* My nephew likes to talk while I type, ERRRRRRRR, Ima smack him...
