My copy of milk shape expiered and i dont want to pay To use a program they said was free. i Need a model program that works Exactily like milk shape. Dont link me to that crapys program Light rays or something like that.

One more thing. is there any way i can get my computer to forget i ever had milk shape, so i can just reinstal it and it will start over agin.
In other words delete all Files that once invalved milkshape and completely get rid of it. uninstaling and reinstaling does nothing.

Hmmmmmm...as for the uninstall reinstall I think, I don't think so. I tried it with Hex and it wouldn't fly. I would try GMax or you can always use Halo CE and the SDK and edit that way :-)

ok iv instaled it on 98 it runns there. iv put a shortcut on my hard drive then i went to 2000 and ran it and it says i need to regester. would you say thats a system registration key was added? 98 and 2000 use the same system folder but diferent Registration keys.

yes, all software that has time-limits uses a system registration key to make sure you dont screw with the date or just re-inatall it.

so all i have to do is find that key and reset it or remove it.

or just get a cd-key..... much more efficient and equally legal.

Well sort of legal, unless you're like an ex-convicted computer hacker and the FBI knows what you are thinking every second of your life. But otherwise a CD-key would do the trick, or a keygen, crack, serial fix, anything of the sort. Maybe Kazaa because its 100% legal. I don

its legal to remove a regestration key from my own computer. i jont want to pay to use a program that they said was free. it said after 30 days you must regester and its free but now it says pay $25 for a program that took like 3 days to make. ill just find its regestry key and over write it with a new one.

You didn't break any rules. But that doesn't mean that a few certain moderators won't try to get you banned (and probly succed), like they did for me on the files forum (and it relly pisses me off that they did it, even tho I did nothing wrong).

moderators can't ban people, only admins can. And, I said, you didn't do anything wrong. I was just saying that moderators (some of the more strict ones) can easily misinterpret things like what you said before (which is the reason why I'm banned from the files forum).

In the files forum under utilities, there's a post about an atlernative to Milkshape. NOTE: THIS IS NOT BLENDER, it's yet ANOTHER thread.
