HaloMods "Classic" Read-only Archive

normally i could see text but out of the clear blue i cant see text in-game on halo pc or on halo ce ....... does anyone know what the fuck is goin on? for the past 6 months ive had the game nothing wrong happened but now all of a sudden this? i uninstalled both halos and reinstalled them and that fixed it but then within a few days it was back again............ please help .

update your graphics card drivers.

You know, I had the same problem, but eventually it fixed itself. Oh, and like Edwin said, you may want to update your graphics card drivers, it could help, if not, I would say get a new graphics card, but you may not have the money, I know I sure don't.

Sometimes it has a lot to do with upload speed. I notice that when I had dial up, I had a much harder time catchin everything that people were typing. Also may have something to do with memory

ummm i have a T1 connection and i have a Radeon 9600 graphics card ........i HIGHLY DOUBT it is either one of those that is causing it..........seeing also that it had been working fine for like 6 months lol

well, halo auto-patches itself, video drivers are in constant neeed of update....

you might also try editing the file that stores video compatability settings for Halo, i know with other microsoft games it is simply a matter of adding in the card/drivers.

ok thanks for all ur guys's help but......none of it worked....lol i figured it out on my own and i will be posting a Tutorial here that i hope becomes a sticky...
