enviroment sound

how do u change the enviroment sound of a map in hmt? as an examples-chenge the enviroment sound of bloodgulch and replace it with the enviroment sound of sidewinder so that bg sounds snow-like? plz help

open sidewinder
find the sound tag, [snd] i think :s
extract the environment sound you want
open BG
find the sound tag
inject the sound you extracted

i think th@ should work :s

u cant extract the enviroment/mountains sound, u can only save its meta?? im not sure wat to do :?:

umm, i think you can actually extract the sound....just look around...did you try the save recursive option...if that will do anything for you...

u should be able 2 extract it as a .ogg shouldnt u?

You mean looping sounds? Easy. Just open up HMT v3.5, scroll down to looping sounds, click the one you want, Save recursive meta, then drag it into the folder where you batch extracted your map. Then when you rebuild, be sure to ADD the music you extracted. In my Twilight maps (night conversion of the outdoor MP maps, I used c10 music to give it a spooky effect.
