I was wondering how I would go about modding sounds, IE gun shots, vehicle noises, marine "commentary", cortana, MC, Keyes, etc...

wtf mac that spam said absolutely nothing, didnt answer his question, and is prob. gonna get u banned sometime really soon.
would u mind explaining what u mean by modding sounds? ldo you mean changing the sound files, like replacing the start-up music with metallica, or swapping them, like cortana using monitor dialog?

You'd have to extract the sounds first, in HMT goto teh sounds tag, and export everything you want to edit, then if the file is .ogg you'll need to convert it to .wav (Search for a converter/encoder on google.). Then edit it how ever you like, encode it back into .ogg, and import the file.

thanks, people. I should have known there was a sound folder for HMT... Arrgh, I'm so lazy i didn't check. Also, I think a free program called Jet Audio can read and convert items such as OGG's...
