Hello, sorry if this has been discussed before but i cant find it anywhere,
when i open sparkedit i get a message:

Then open Halo folder.And place the new moddedmap in there.Make a backup of original.
If what you dl isnt a .map file,then its a .ppf

You will find that in the utilites section of files.halomods.com

But what is that 'same way'?
For example, in a single player map, I want to be able to do the following...
Rebuild a map with something that was not in the original game
In a part that say, has two ghosts next to eachother, I want to be able to duplicate one of the ghosts and say, change the duplicated ghost to a rocket hog (for example).
My question is, can I do this? Or do all three either have to be ghosts or rocket hogs?
And how do you import new tags into sparkedit? It only supports scenery and vehicles, and I've worked at trying to import other stuff in, but I never can succeed. Is there a step by step guide somewhere that tells me what to do?

for regular u can follow tuts that u can find by using the search... or google.
for CE... well, i got out of modding when CE came out.

Answer: To shoot MC's, all you have to do is go to Bipeds> Cyborg (or MP_Cyborg) then copy the meta in the little bar. then go to projectiles, and pick a any. In the same little bar, paste in the value you copied above, and click 'save'... voila! you can shoot MC's!
I want to make it so that instead of throwing a frag grenade, I throw an Assault Rifle. Would I swap the [Weapon] meta of the AR, or the [Model] meta?

Or open the AR in hmt and go to tags,and change them to those of projectiles.Then swap the grenade projectile for the AR
