I think if you keep the Marines in. You should skin their armor just like the chief's. Thats would look really cool. I think Johnson uses a separate biped. Maybe you could make him a spartan.

i feel cool because my name is on there twice. and yeah i agree with monkey, but knowing Pepsi he has cited the creator of the image in the credits already.

Yeah, I'm sure he will credit him, but it seems silly not to credit him on the credit page that he supplied the background for.

you can see quags name on the image in the dds from the other angle. he credited himself tbh on the image. i never removed his mark on the bottom right xD

no, the ar display is red cause of the lighting hitting on it from inside of the bridge.

yes i edited it slightly on the halo control panel but only to make the colors more vibrant like it said awhile back with the DC cliffs as a example. i think that one pic just has a bad angle of it. but i do see what your saying.

I'm sorry, but I really don't consider half of his name in uber small text in the bottom corner to be a credit. :roll:

since its that big of a issue to you ill remove the image.

simply solved.

i had a huge debate typed up over free public source renders vs. people stating "please credit me if used" but tbh.. i dont have the time to get into it.

the image would have been cool to have and bring a skinning legends work into this project, but being picky over how big his name is mentioned on a free open piece of artwork he offered to the public just seems silly to me to argue over.

ill replace it with something else.

sorry there hasnt been a update on the library but it doesnt mean im not working on it.

the library has a total of 290 lightmaps making the whole level in 4 sections of load times on each section with each elevator ride. i have the misc bitmaps i want done here but i have to do each lightmap now.

so this is me right now..

extract, open in PS, edit the bitmap, save, inject.

now do that 290 times.. >_>

to get a idea of this process check out my PS as of right now..

thats just the maps for the third base section of maps. this should be done within the hour hopefully but i have some other things to do also before i post pics of the library.

if it wasnt for 4gigs of corsair ddr2 i would be so pissed doing this tbh.

why not compile the lightmaps in ce and convert the bitmaps?

all the SP/MP maps have been finished. now its time to go through with a quick look and try to tweek things even more i hope.

this is kinda the last or one of the last chances for feedback on this while im running through it all. there is still alot of skinning left to do with the marines and such and converting the MC's back to marines.

this would be your oppurtinity to have something done in this you think would help it.

it kinda feels like im running the gauntlet on the maw now with this mod..

this is now 99% done. just waiting for beta testing to be done and like 20 bitmaps left. should be out by weds/thurs.
