flying turret?

well the turret doesn't have a swivel any more, basicly the turret is stuck looking at one angle, while my reticule is moving around, the turret won't move with it. the xyz plugins help with only one angle, but that just gives, me the same problem, but from a different angle.

hmmmm.....I dont know really, I've never really tried this too much, i just thought of how it could work and moved on. That's mostly what i do. sorry i cant help out much. :cry:

make the banshee look like the turret and change the projectiles to null rod and change the bolt to turret beam and there ya go

you change the seat to a turret seat in eschaton

Isn't that only for Mac modding? would it work on a PC?

Windows download of Eschaton

I should think HMT v3.5 has the same ability though. Doesn't it have the ability to change P-driver to W-driver and such? Although I'm not so sure that will help when it comes to the actual location of where MC is relative to the model. Might have something more to do with the attachment points.

this can be done in hmt, you guys really need to mess around with the functions...

most people dont know what all they can do with just hmt...

Doesn't it have the ability to change P-driver to W-driver and such?
That's only to change who can drive it and how they drive it (shee-laying down, gunner-standing, w-driver-sitting etc.)

What I'm asking is the actual position of the Banshee seat may not fit the position of the turret's seat.

Well then that's probably an attachment points issue. If anyone knows more about that feel free to post. For some reason they always seem to be placed in the weirdest spots for me. Especially considering vehicles.

i did a flying turret with eschaton in a demo mod i did a a while ago

what i did is switch the thing to dropship/pelican and work on the movement numbers(acceleration/decceletation/ect.) and checked off the driver power wakes physics box(and speed, and gunner power)
then switching the physics power mass points of the turrets to antigrav.
