By the response you said right there I can truely tell you do not know how modding works. Let me explain something to you.
If you're in your home server, you can hit them.
If you're on a server online in the lobby, you can not hit them.
I know Pepsi has said this at least 5 times before. I'm assuming because you can write, you're able to read. So stop looking at pictures, and actually read what he's typing. All you're doing is making yourself seem more idiotic when you type posts like this. (see arrow). I'm not trying to flame you but calling BG a phail is a little unnecessary. =\

I would appreciate it if you would make the pelicans much higher because sometimes when I shoot while in a banshee, I wouldn't be able to see the enemy and I would die from a rocket I couldn't see. :3

Not entirely true, if the pelicans have their collision model intact, and you join an online game, nobody else will see or hit the pelican. You haowever, will collide with it, then you will lag to the location you be at if the pelican wasn't there (crap). I think by holograms he meant items with no collision floating there. And I recall pepsi doing that, so yes it is awesome. im currently working on DI as we speak and hope to finish it sometime tomarrow. tis a big map you know..
i went into a lobby game and fly a shee through one of thoes pelicans and got the very slightest bit of lag. i mean i wouldnt have noticed it if i wasnt expecting it. but then again i get more lag from tossing nades sometimes then flying shees. nessa was correct on her statement in a sense cause we didnt notice it enough to consider it effecting gameplay that much. as for the peli's being low it really does add to the feel of being "dropped off at the bases" more or less. i said it many times, they dont move! want to know why? read back a few pages.
i also added the "earth" in a sense to the main menu threshold. looks spiffy and i think its a keeper.
i should have a good chuck of this knocked out by thurdays morning but ill post some updates tomarrow also. wednesday my new monitor comes in hopefully (newegg dont let me down) so im excited about that as well.

I don't know how it would take away. That stuff would be like upgrading from cake to ice cream cake. Needless to say it would be a great mod on its own, the two are doing a great job and getting this done at a very fast pace.

ill upload a working beta of what i have thurday night then for my beta people to try what i have so far. yes i do have tazz's H3 weapons in FTW at the moment BUT.. if you read what i said in TAZZ's thread i asked for permission to mod them also. makes ya think huh...

That earth looks pretty damn spiffy, I love the new UI also.

Anyways, any updates pepsi because i seriously want it, BUT if you need help on anything just ask, tho im sure you can handle everything on your own, but if you ask me to help, im not good at skinning atm, but im practicing, me would love to help

6 hours later and deathisland is done. i hate the water. i HATE it. but i think i got it finally. more and more im amazing how much alpha layer plays a vital role in the bitmaps for this game. just by editing them the right way can totally change the outcome on a object. boy did i learn this the hard wy with the water on death island tonight. i tried my best to make the level have a good overall apperance like it should with the sunset type theme i was going with here. the bases now glisten in the sunlight as they should and the waves and water are almost seamless on the shoreline. it actually reminds me of the water now instead of "generated waves". the insides of the bases have more of a darker tone where the lightfixtures play a more active role lighting the inside of the base like they should also. yes i know theres peli's and dropships sitting in the sky but i likem there so hush on them not moving and what not. i may have to redo the threshold cause i think i darkened the one side a tad to much but then again it is 4:28am and i can barely see as im typing this. good thing for my day off from work tomorrow..
