how do i pick up sword on b30

i have tried lots of things but i still dont know how to wield it any answers?

Yeah, change the ID class to an AR. Then you can pick up the sword you can't see or use.

well in campaign its temp. you would kill an elite holding it with lets say a melee and then press action after its dead and it will say

Picked up energy sword

but you wont be holding it and you'll still have ur original weapon

You could always do uber hax and duplicate a plasma rifle's FP model, re-reference the sword's weap tag to use the duplicated model and then Inject a Sword Remodel/Skin into the duplicated tags using either the EOF tactic or internalizing to prevent the bitmaps from crossing over to the original plasma rifle.

I love making things sound much more complicated then they really are.
