Oh ok then. If this involves me going out and buying something, then returning with a smelly fat man who knows about computers, then no thankyou.

Actually, video cards aren't to expensive.. If you want cheap but decent quality but do not want to pay a whole lot, go with a 6 or 7 series in Nvidea. Not the greatest, but not the worst. Btw, anything higher then a 6 series is a lot better then what you have now. If you want to really get a nice card, wait for something higher then the 9 series to come out. Or look at what ATI has to offer, those are good cards too...
To install, open up your comp, take out the piece that your monitor plugs into, and install the new graphics card. Unless its got some weird setup then you have to yes, have someone look at it.. like mine just goes right to the PCI slot (the slot on the lower back part of your comp)... and grip it by the metal parts, never the chip.
Also, check for some driver updates, and you may want to even reinstall your current video card...
If its not a graphics card problem, what is it then?..

They are blocked by enough layers of objects. For example, the pelican's thrust flares will show through it, but not when I hold the assault rifle in front of it.
