Logos and Brands on skins?

I always thought that masterchief looks like he belongs on a dirt bike, so i was gunna make a skin that made it look even more like it, but im not too sure with copy right laws and stuff wheteher i am allowed to put brand names on him and post it here... if a halomods staff or anyone knows if its allowed could they tell me please? i just dont want to post some big companies logos on one of my skins if it aint allowed.

wouldnt it be ok if he made up companies, like hatichi (hitachi), gotocross (motocross)?

Sure

but there aren't many skins you can do it on, simple because the skins has one side that is mirrored over the other. So one side would be backwards.

Yeah. It'd be best to make up your own logo, make it look like a real one, and have it be symmetrical.

Then why is it that I have seen numerous skins with real band logos on them in the download section?

It's technically not right, but we don't pursuit it very heavily. You're not making a profit off of it, and you're not claiming it's yours. Frankly, go right ahead and use other companies.

sorry to bump this topic... i didnt notice that there were more replies... I did it but i dont think it looks that good, all it looks like is mc with motocross brands stickered all over him and blacked out bits and lines and designs on him, nothing special. i dont think anyone would download it
