How to add your own bits to a multipurpose

Post by bcnipod »

I know this sounds like a simple question, but say i made some changes to an existing bitmap. these changes require me to have a new multipurpose image, how would i go about making the bitmap i edited into the multipurpose?

Edit: nvm i figured it out here is a tut on how, this is done in photoshop and might as well move this to the tuts.

1. select the bit of the bitmap you edited that you want to add to the multipurpose.
2. copy it into a new document
3. select the whole image
4. go to the menu at the top select "image" then choose the sub-menu "adjustments" then chose the option "color balance"
5. to make the adjust the sliders accordingly, you will mainly be moving the middle one towards the left because that means it will become pinkish.
6. if there is no mask goto step 11

these next steps are optional it really depends on if you need to edit the mask as well.

7. then repeat steps 1-3
8. go to the menu at the top select "image" then choose the sub-menu "adjustments" then chose the option "levels"
9. now drag the arrow that is colored white, all the way over to the left.
10. now copy and paste the bit you jsut edited into the mask bitmap and you are done.

11. now copy the multipurpose and place it correctly into the multipurpose bitmap and you are done.
